Position Overview: We are seeking a Long Term Care RN for a permanent placement at Country View Living, located at 701 Butler Blvd, Dimmitt, TX. This night shift role from 6 PM to 6 AM offers a flexible schedule of 3 to 4 shifts per week, with every other weekend off. The patient load averages 50-52 residents, with a 1:25 staff ratio, serving individuals with low acuity needs no IVs, feeding tubes, wounds, secure units, or behavioral issues. This role provides an excellent environment to apply your nursing skills in a calm, supportive setting. Required Skills: Active Texas RN licensure Minimum of 1 year of long-term care or geriatrics experience Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience in a low-acuity long-term care facility CPR and First Aid certification Bilingual abilities Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) At least 1-3 years of nursing experience, with preference for long-term care settings Other Requirements: Reliable transportation to and from shifts Ability to pass background checks and health screenings Willingness to work night shifts Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire) This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated nurses to join a committed team and provide compassionate care in a supportive environment.
