Commercial Dashboard Developer - REMOTE

Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau Developer with commercial pharma experience for our Technology Consulting client. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights for the commercial pharmaceutical business. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Tableau, coupled with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's commercial operations, including sales, marketing, product launches, and regulatory considerations.Key Responsibilities:Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support commercial teams in making data-driven decisions.Data Visualization: Transform complex data into visually compelling insights, providing users with a clear understanding of commercial performance metrics such as market share, sales forecasts, and product launch effectiveness.Pharma-Specific Analytics: Utilize knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry to create custom visualizations and insights into drug sales performance, HCP (Health Care Provider) targeting, patient journeys, and market access.Data Integration: Integrate various data sources (e.g., sales data, marketing data, patient data, CRM systems) into Tableau for comprehensive analysis.Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, commercial analytics teams, data scientists, and IT to gather requirements and ensure dashboards meet business needs.Optimization: Continuously optimize existing dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring accurate and up-to-date insights are always available.Data Governance: Adhere to data governance, compliance, and privacy standards within the pharmaceutical industry, including understanding of HIPAA regulations and FDA guidelines.Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on best practices in Tableau usage and dashboard interpretation.Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Tableau Developer with a focus on commercial pharmaceutical data.Tableau Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tableau for data visualization, including dashboard design, custom calculations, and performance optimization.Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial pharma operations, including sales analytics, market access, and compliance with industry regulations.Data Management: Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources such as sales CRM, marketing systems, and healthcare databases.SQL & Data Warehousing: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases; experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) is a plus.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.)Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, Veeva, Symphony Health, etc.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
