Landscape Architect - Expert LevelJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Landscape Architect who maintains awareness of evolving landscape technology and site engineering systems. The ideal candidate will understand and respond to technical implications and design decisions, ensuring that all drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents are reviewed and executed accurately. This role requires execution of responsibilities on projects within the scope of schedule and budget, as well as participation in marketing pursuits, proposal preparation, and interviews.ResponsibilitiesMaintain awareness of evolving landscape technology and site engineering systems.Understand and respond to technical implications and design decisions.Review and execute drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.Execute responsibilities on projects within the scope of schedule and budget.Engage in marketing pursuits, proposal preparation, and interviews.Direct applicable agency review analysis, including accessibility, zoning, and life-safety.Review work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual.Participate actively within collaborative team settings, such as design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.Demonstrate strong and effective communication and direction to inspire high team performance and design ideas.Mentor staff.Coordinate effectively with partners, colleagues, and consultants throughout all project phases.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit and BIM.Expertise in landscape architecture and landscape design.Ability to conduct site analysis.Knowledge of building codes.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in landscape, architecture, or a related field.Professional landscape licensure or 25 years of experience in the design profession.Work EnvironmentThis is a hybrid role with the expectation of being onsite 2-3 days per week.
