CNC Operator

Job Position: CNC Operator Location: Woodstock, IL 60050 Pay Rate: $20.00-23.00/hr Shift: 1st Shift Description:Load sheet goods and solid materials onto the CNC router bed in preparation for each production run. Launch and monitor CNC programs via the machine's computer interface, making basic parameter adjustments as directed by foreman Remove finished parts from the machine and label each piece accurately according to cut sheets, shop drawings, or job tickets Organized labeled components by job, cabinet number, and part type to support smooth flow to the assembly area Preform routine machine checks at the start and end of each shift, including bit inspection, spoilboard condition, and dust collection Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety policies Communicate any material defects, program errors, or equipment issues to the shift supervisor immediately Assist with material handling throughout the shop as production demand requires Follow all safety protocols including PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and emergency stop operation Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs unassisted Experience with Procore and Textura Ability to preform repetitive production tasks consistently and accurately Comfort operating a computer to run CNC programs Ability to read and follow shop drawings or cut lists High School Diploma or GED Prior CNC router experience in woodworking or cabinet environment Familiarity with cabinet construction and component terminology Experience with nesting software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, Microvellum) Basic understanding of wood species and sheet goods Vocational training in manufacturing or woodworking Strong attention to detail
