Principal Engineer

We're seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our modern, cloud-native technology platform. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced technical leader who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving innovation across the organization.What You'll DoArchitect and build scalable, serverless solutions leveraging AWS technologies including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, S3, CloudFront, and RDS.Define technical standards, architectural patterns, and long-term platform strategy.Lead major engineering initiatives and drive adoption of modern technologies, distributed systems, and AI-powered solutions.Partner with Product, Security, DevOps, and business leaders to align technology decisions with organizational goals.Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.Champion system reliability, security, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.Drive CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, testing strategies, and engineering best practices.What You'll Bring10+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale cloud-native applications.Deep expertise in AWS, serverless architecture, and distributed systems.Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React experience.Strong SQL and relational database expertise, including MySQL optimization and design.Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, event-driven architectures, and modern software development practices.Strong understanding of security frameworks, authentication protocols, and scalable system design.Proven ability to influence technical strategy, mentor teams, and lead complex initiatives.Why Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to shape architecture, influence engineering direction, and build innovative solutions that drive meaningful business impact.
