Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.The Network Engineer will analyze local LAN/WAN systems, which includes planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites. The Network Engineer will configure communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. The successful candidate will resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across platforms, which includes email, file transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing. The Engineer will configure systems to user requirements, perform various tests and document results, administer and maintain LAN/WAN, provide technical support and troubleshooting to users, and plan network layout designs. Additionally, the candidate may assist with administering network security, performing database administration, and serving as the technical team or task lead.RequirementsJob Requirements:Active Top Secret ClearanceBachelor of Science (B.S.)
