Job Description: Lead Technician –Insulation ($67,000 for 28 weeks) About Us Elevate Insulation is a trusted provider of high-quality insulation solutions, committed to improving energy efficiency, comfort, and safety for residential clients. Position Overview As a Lead Technician, you’ll be responsible for job quality, crew leadership, customer communication, and production efficiency. You’ll work heavily during the spring and summer, then enjoy extended time off the rest of the year. You will be installing insulation and energy improvement measures in older residential homes. Compensation & Schedule ● $67,000 for 28 weeks of work ● Summer season (April–September) ○ Travel required to another state for 18–22 weeks ○ 60-hour weeks ○ Monday–Saturday ● Off-season schedule: ○ October – OFF ○ February – OFF ○ Remaining months: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off ● Work hard for 28 weeks — enjoy the rest of the year. Key Responsibilities ● Lead and manage a 4-man installation crew ● Install insulation in residential homes ● Perform energy audits ● Work safely and confidently on roofs ● Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers ● Ensure quality control, productivity, and job completion ● Train and motivate crew members ● Maintain a positive attitude, hard working culture, take pride in work Requirements ● Proven leadership or crew management experience ● Strong communication skills (team + customers) ● Comfortable working on roofs and in attics ● Able to perform physical labor ● Willing to travel out of state during summer months ● Reliable, organized, and self-motivated ● Experience in insulation or construction preferred (but leadership matters most) ● Pass a Criminal Background/Drug test.
