Fleet Service & Parts TechnicianPosition based out of Bear Lake, MichiganFull-time hours + Competitive Benefit PackageJob PurposeWe are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operation of our commercial truck fleet. This is a hands-on, hourly position that plays a key role in keeping our vehicles safe, compliant, and on the road.This role combines parts coordination, light-to-moderate repair work, and vehicle shuttling, making it ideal for someone with a background in fleet or truck maintenance who enjoys variety and responsibility.ResponsibilitiesFleet Maintenance SupportAssist with maintenance and repair work on commercial trucks and equipmentPerform inspections, basic diagnostics, and preventative maintenanceSupport senior mechanics with repairs as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environmentParts & Inventory CoordinationOrder parts and supplies for fleet maintenance and repairsCommunicate with vendors and suppliers on availability, pricing, and deliveryTrack parts usage and help maintain inventory levelsCoordinate parts needs with shop staff to minimize vehicle downtimeVehicle Shuttling & LogisticsShuttle trucks to and from repair shops, vendors, and company locationsAssist with vehicle movements within the yard or between facilitiesSupport fleet logistics during peak maintenance or repair periodsGeneral Fleet SupportAssist with recordkeeping related to maintenance and repairsCommunicate clearly with management regarding vehicle status and repair needsPitch in where needed to support overall fleet operationsWhat is our benefit package?This position will enjoy insurances including Medical & Prescription plan coverages, FSA/HSA, Dental, Vision, Short Term & Long Term Disability, Life Insurances, Hospitalization, Accident and Critical Illness.
