As a Sr. Area Manager, you are responsible for implementing and adhering to all Company policies and procedures. Make it Safe, Make it Personal, Make it Home.ResponsibilitiesAs a Sr. Area Manager, you will effectively lead and manage Area operations relating to construction services, outside plant and engineering services, and design services.In addition, you will:Review and assign new projects to Outside Plant EngineersHelp with project prioritization based on need and escalation of these projectsPrepare electronic Job Packets with all maps, plans, and information needed for thorough review by OPEWalkouts at sites with OPEs as needed, to have accurate information for project developmentHelp with project permitting and obtaining these permits as required to support the project and OPEsCommit to constant communications with project customers and counterparts to keep information moving and manage their expectationsEncompass detailed use of the Comcast Job Tracking system, as well as assignment and closure of these projectsReview of all projects in the area and their management – from beginning to endProblem-solve related to these projects, their design, and start/end datesForecast review and data entry to systems related to these projects, and estimated dollarsPurchase order process for these projects, as needed, and depending on non-standard itemsAttend company and customer meetings as requiredManage up to 10 or more people, depending on the facility or areaCommit to final Construction project Job Packet completion and include all required documentsRegularly evaluate the performance of all employees according to procedures, and continually nurture employee developmentConduct companywide safety practices, policies, and trainingReview safety violation enforcement and disciplinary actionConduct safety training and complianceAll other duties as assignedQualificationsAbout You:Safety is a part of your day-to-dayYou have the ability to learn different city, county, and state permitting rules and guidelinesValid US driver's licenseClean driving recordLift and carry up to 70 lbsAbility to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for the project build processHighly organized person and can show planning and processes to support daily workProficient with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.Ability to become proficient with customer "Host Systems"Understanding RF and Fiber network architecturesAbility to manage multiple staff membersCan interface with customers on/off-site as requiredProfessional and effective leaderEffective Project Manager (ability to manage multiple projects at one time)Practical and conceptual thinking as related to project descriptions and needsExcellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume work environmentDependable, flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as neededAbility to be on-call, as neededWork independently under minimal supervisionSales experience relating to construction projectsNegotiation and compromise skillsCompensation and BenefitsFinancial Security: Compensation $120,000 - 125,000 Depending on experience401(k) with company matchEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Life insuranceShort-term and Long-term disabilityHealth and Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision insuranceDependent care and medical flexible spending accountsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Work/Life Balance: Paid time offPaid holidaysFamily and medical leavePaid sick timeWe meet your commitment with competitive pay and benefits.
