The Prepress Production Artist is responsible for resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to meet project deadlines. This position is eligible to work an in-person schedule based out of Fort Wayne, IN.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure products meet customer expectations based on company objectivesReview and edit output delivered by the graphic artists to ensure completeness and accuracy of data as well as high-quality graphics/layout that comply with the standards and design guidanceRead, understand and apply customer, legal and regulatory specificationsPerforms assigned tasks within the overall production workflow and assigned budget, according to work order specifications, industry and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), company standards, and the client's brand guidelines and standardsExhibit a solid understanding of the process required in taking a conceptual design through to final artwork and have the ability to proof artwork and layoutAbility to work in a team environmentTrack projects, check scheduled ETA of work orders, and verify finishingMaintain/document reference information, graphics standards, and production templatesCommunicate information for narrowing the margin for error between design and productionAbility to alternate between production and design with easeFacilitate all finish work required on all items from attachment methods, extra materials required for facilitating a smooth, hassle free installation on siteConfirm final shipping inventory, coordinate with lead installer, shipping and warehouse that appropriate information, installation materials and electronic files are also delivered to show siteEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experienceVisual design skills specifically on typography and layoutMin 3-5 years in a similar or related roleQuality assurance experienceVery strong attention to detailMust be able to prioritize workload and work under pressureProficient in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and Adobe SuitePositive attitude and a team playerAbility to operate within a fast-paced environmentExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsWhat We OfferFreeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
