Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner - PRN as Needed at Life Scan Wellness Centers, located in Tampa, FL. The Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive physical exams, conduct health assessments, and provide early detection screenings tailored for public safety professionals. Responsibilities also include reviewing patient medical histories, educating individuals about their health, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care. Qualifications Proficiency in conducting thorough physical exams and health assessmentsExperience in patient education and preventative care practicesStrong ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populationsFamiliarity with early detection protocols for conditions such as cancer and cardiovascular diseasesValid Nurse Practitioner licensure and relevant certificationsFlexibility to work on a PRN basis as neededPrior experience in occupational health or working with public safety professionals is a plus
