Bartender

We are seeking a full time bartender to join our Harbor crew. Candidates must have experience in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing inventory, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail, has a passion for cleanliness, and comes to work with a positive attitude and an energetic work ethic. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, and wine, using a POS system to manage orders and inventory. - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces. - Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about our menu and drinks. - Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, and balance the cash register at the end of each shift. - Maintain a high level of knowledge about our food and drink offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of sales techniques to increase revenue and drive sales. - Perform basic math calculations to process transactions and manage inventory. - Provide support to other team members as needed, including helping with other aspects of the restaurant. **Experience:** - Prior experience in a food and beverage service environment is required. - Experience with catering and special events is an asset. - Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling is required. - Excellent customer service skills are essential. **Skills:** - Proficiency in food service and bartending techniques. - Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Basic math skills. - Ability to stand for long periods of time. - Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling. - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
