Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work.Job OverviewThe Multi Store Asset Protection Manager oversees all aspects of Asset Protection and supports company profit objectives and customer service goals. They are responsible for multiple locations with an elevated scope of responsibility, including increased staff levels, higher sales volume, and higher shortage risk. Additionally, they perform other duties as assigned.What You Will DoLead all Security operations to support company profit objectives and customer service goalsProtect and monitor company assets, alarms, property, employees, and visitors by enforcing Company and Security PoliciesHire, train, and supervise the Security Staff. Manage and develop direct reports for individual growth and performance excellenceCommunicate with Facility Management and MSC Asset Protection on shortage/security issues, recommending solutions as necessaryIdentify causes of shortage within the building, including investigating possible internal and/or external dishonest activityEnsure compliance with all Corporate Security Policies and ProceduresSecure and monitor the movement of trailers in and out of the facilityManage Security fulfillment operations, including staff communications, balancing, work assignments, scheduling, throughput levels, and processing standardsDevelop and manage departmental budgetsEnsure the department meets or exceeds performance requirements in safety, shortage, cost control, quality, processing standards, flexibility, reliability, customer service, and execution to planReview analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectivesEnsure consistent, thorough, and timely communication to subordinates, peers, and senior managementWrite and conduct performance appraisals for security staffProvide a safe work environment for staff; develop and enforce safe work practicesMaintain regular, dependable attendance and punctualityFoster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communitiesIn addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assignedSkills You Will NeedLeadership Skills: Ability to lead and oversee all Security operations, providing direction and guidance to ensure alignment with company profit objectives and customer service goalsSecurity Management: Proficiency in protecting and monitoring company assets, alarms, property, employees, and visitors by enforcing Company and Security Policies, including identifying and investigating potential dishonest activitiesTeam Management: Skill in hiring, training, and supervising the Security Staff, as well as managing and developing direct reports to foster individual growth and achieve performance excellenceCommunication Skills: Effective communication with Facility Management and MSC Asset Protection on shortage/security issues, along with the ability to recommend and implement solutions as necessary. Consistent, thorough, and timely communication to subordinates, peers, and senior management is crucial.Operational and Analytical Skills: Proficiency in managing Security fulfillment operations, including staff communications, balancing, work assignments, scheduling, throughput levels, and processing standards.
