Sheet Metal Journeymen

Job Description The role of a Sheet Metal Journeyman involves utilizing various hand and power tools, along with large equipment, to fabricate, assemble, and install HVAC systems such as ductwork, VAVs, and other sheet metal components. They are responsible for interpreting blueprints, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, adhering to company standards, and maintaining safety protocols.An ideal candidate is dependable, capable of working independently or collaboratively, and possesses at least five (5) years of relevant experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Reviewing blueprints to determine tools, measurements, and installation sitesOperating hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipmentInstalling, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systemsFollowing safety procedures; and regularly inspecting tools to ensure proper functioningRequirements and Qualifications:The ability to interpret blueprints and drawingsA minimum of five (5) years of professional experienceFamiliarity with hand and power toolsAttention to detailReliable with a strong work ethicExperience in remodeling and hospital settings preferredCompany DescriptionSmith Co Mechanical LLC was founded in April 2023, driven by a vision to provide professional, trustworthy installation services.
