Business Development Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to join an emerging business in the heavy civil construction industry. We are a startup firm looking for a proactive, outgoing, and energetic individual who excels at building and maintaining relationships. In this role, you will focus on nurturing relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to connect with new prospects. You'll develop client-specific strategies and solutions to drive sales growth and meet profitability goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prospect Identification: Use best practice B2B techniques to understand potential partner organizations and assess their compatibility with our strategic objectives and values. Utilize business acumen to research companies, C-Level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to create detailed research-based strategic communication plans Outreach and Relationship Building: Initiate contact with prospective partners through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and other selling tools. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs, and aligning our offerings to create value for both parties. Create business development strategies to increase company revenue and brand value. Pursue new business opportunities and ensure seamless handoff from business development to sales. Participate in seminars and industry events to represent The Quality Firm in the heavy civil/construction market. Additional Tasks: Undertake other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the business and adapt to evolving company needs. Travel occasionally for key customers, events, and sales meetings. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in business development, sales, customer service, partner development, or a similar role, preferably in the Construction industry Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for pipeline management Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve business development targets PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field 3+ years of construction industry Anbessaw EEOC Statement Anbessaw Consulting, Inc is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
