We currently have numerous design and inspection assignments for transportation infrastructure related projects within the region. ResponsibilitiesDevelop contract plans, special provisions, and engineer's estimatesPerform structural design calculations (beam design, reinforced concrete and steel structures design and analysis), sketches, computer modeling, and similar technical work as requiredPerform load ratings on bridges and other structuresAdhere to quality control and quality assurance proceduresEffectively communicate and coordinate with other members of the design teamAssist with field inspections and condition assessments of bridges and other structuresResearch design options and codes and discuss with the project managerRequirements: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred, in Civil or Structural Engineering0 to 6 years of experience (3 preferred) of relevant experienceEIT certification and Wisconsin PE license or the ability to obtain within four yearsExperience with analytical software such as SAP, CSI Bridge, LARSA 4D, MIDAS Civil, AASHTOWare Brr, etc.Experience with CAD software such as MicroStation or AutoCADExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA highly motivated and responsible individual with a strong work ethicFamiliarity with inspection, design and construction of bridges or other structuresFamiliarity with WisDOT procedures preferredBenefits: We offer a professional work environment, competitive salary, benefits package, and 401(k).EOE M/F/ DISABILITY/VETSPIc6b27a5-
