Project Engineer (Civil P.E.)

About The RoleWe are seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to lead and take ownership of land development design, permitting, and engineering execution. This individual will serve as the Engineer of Record, with responsibility for reviewing, approving, and stamping plans.This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to build and manage in-house engineering capabilities while working closely with leadership on active development projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead civil design and engineering efforts for land development projectsPrepare, review, and approve site plans, grading, drainage, and utility designsServe as Engineer of Record and provide plan stamping as requiredManage and coordinate with external consultants, municipalities, and contractorsOversee permitting, zoning, and entitlement processesEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsSupport project execution by aligning engineering, budget, and timelinesProvide technical guidance and oversight across multiple concurrent projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringActive Professional Engineer (PE) license (REQUIRED)5+ years of experience in land development / site development engineeringProven experience with permitting and regulatory processesStrong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design softwareExperience working on residential and/or commercial development projectsAbility to take ownership and operate independently in a lean environment
