Construction Project CoordinatorLocation: Bloomington / Peoria, Illinois AreaJob SummaryWe are seeking a recent graduate or early-career professional (0-2 years of experience) who is interested in developing into a Project Manager to join our construction team in the Bloomington / Peoria area.The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience supporting construction projects from planning through completion. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn project management fundamentals including estimating, scheduling, field coordination, procurement, and subcontractor management.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project coordinationSupport project planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure projects stay on schedulePerform pipeline takeoffs and assist with project estimatingOrder materials and aggregates and track deliveries to ensure timely arrivalCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and equipment rentals for project needsAssist with heavy equipment fleet coordination and logisticsCommunicate with project managers and field teams regarding project status and material availabilityEnsure crews have the tools, materials, and resources needed to meet project goalsTrack project progress and maintain documentation related to schedules, materials, and changesRead and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specificationsAssist with preparation of technical documentation including SOPs and project submittalsMaintain vendor relationships and assist with procurement activitiesSupport safety initiatives and assist with basic safety management tasksHelp identify and resolve project issues to keep projects moving forwardSupport senior staff with additional tasks as neededQualifications0-2 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordinationBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field preferred but not requiredAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plansStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelInternship or work experience in construction or heavy equipment environmentsFamiliarity with equipment logistics or fleet managementExperience with CAD or Civil 3D is a plusBasic understanding of construction safety practicesCompensation* Pay commensurate with experience and is has a range of $50,000 - $60,000Landmarc Environmental Systems, LLC (Landmarc) was conceived by a few environmental professionals, very experienced in both solid waste management and construction.
