You'll supervise the maintenance team, manage outside contractors, and ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently and in line with Resolute Road Hospitality and brand standards. This role is ideal for someone who leads with Integrity, brings Grit to every challenge, and builds teams that are Stronger Together.What You'll DoDevelop and oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all hotel systemsComplete and document work orders in a timely and accurate mannerConduct regular walkthroughs to inspect the condition of the building and surrounding areasMaintain working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, chillers, water softeners, and shuttle vehiclesEnsure property is compliant with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and brand maintenance standardsManage the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of the maintenance teamCoordinate all inspections, including fire, safety, and pool/spa' ensure timely correction of discrepanciesOversee ordering and inventory control of tools, supplies, and maintenance equipmentManage external vendors and contractors scheduling for repairs, inspections, or project workMaintain logs and compliance records for monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance requirementsRespond quickly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and safety concernsOperate hotel systems in accordance with federal, state, and local lawsFill in as shuttle driver when needed (valid driver's license required)Maintain a professional image and communication with all departments and guestsOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExpertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other technical trades (certification preferred)Strong understanding of building maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repairFamiliar with reading blueprints and interpreting building codes and technical specificationsAbility to lead and mentor maintenance team membersProficient in documenting inspections, inventories, and work ordersComfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross departmentallyWorking knowledge of budget management and cost estimation for repairs/projectsHigh attention to safety, cleanliness, and preventive care practicesEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredVocational/technical training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering servicesPrior hotel or hospitality industry experience strongly preferredPrevious supervisory or management experience requiredLicenses & CertificationsValid Driver's License requiredCertified Pool Operator (CPO) or ability to obtain within 60 days of hireTrade certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical highly preferredTIPS or equivalent certificationAdditional InformationConsistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality's standards are critical to success in this role.
