Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior QA Analyst for a 6+ month contract role in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This role is hybrid and requires 2 days in the office and 3 days at home working virtually.Job Responsibilities:Support development and execution of Test Strategy and Test PlansCoordinate testing activities across business SMEs, application teams, and vendorsPerform hands-on manual testing including functional, integration, and end-to-end testingExecute and maintain performance/load testing using Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, and similar toolsModify and maintain existing storm testing scripts for new APIs and integrationsDevelop and execute performance tests for new integrated business scenariosPerform API performance and load testing for individual services and end-to-end workflowsSupport high-volume and peak load validation scenariosLead/support defect triage, tracking, and follow-up activitiesProvide regular test execution and defect status reporting Education/Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline. 5-8 years of relevant experience. Critical SkillsHands-on experience with Apache JMeter is requiredStrong experience with manual testing and defect management. Experience supporting performance/load testing initiativesExperience working in Waterfall or hybrid Agile delivery modelsExperience with API testing and integrated system testingFamiliarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, or similar toolsStrong communication, coordination, and organizational skillsAbility to quickly learn business processes and systems Preferred:Experience in Hammer, BlazemeterExperience with customer-facing or contact center applicationsUtility industry experience is a plusWorking SQL knowledge. C# and/or Python
