As Senior Counsel, Energy, you will contribute to high-visibility projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate legal risks.Analyze and advise on legal matters related to utility interconnection and energy supply transactions.Oversee, structure, and negotiate strategic transactions with development and utility partners.Collaborate closely with real estate and construction teams on utility contracting and coordination with local counsel.Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.Manage corporate entity filings.Advise on process improvements.Must-Have Skills:J.D. and active membership in a U.S. state bar.5+ years of experience in energy and commercial transactional law.Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating electric utility and energy supply agreements.Strong understanding of regulatory proceedings related to energy and corporate governance.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience in both law firm and in-house counsel roles.Detail-oriented approach with the ability to support data-driven decision-making for complex project structures.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
