Role Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports daily store operations by delivering excellent customer service, completing sales transactions, maintaining store standards, and contributing to a safe, organized, and efficient store environment. This role works independently and as part of a team to ensure customers have a positive experience and the store runs smoothly each shift.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly, efficient service and assist customers with purchases, questions, and in-store needs
Accurately complete sales transactions using store systems, including cash handling, till balancing, and adherence to company cash-control procedures
Verify customer identification and follow all requirements for restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery)
Support fuel operations by monitoring pump activity and reporting issues or irregularities
Follow proper safety procedures while assisting customers in filling propane tanks and report issues and/or irregularities
Promote add-on items and suggest products to support sales goals and enhance the customer experience
Prepare and serve food, beverages, and specialty products as applicable, maintaining quality and presentation standards
Use product and system knowledge to assist customers with lottery sales and validation, as well as Fish & Game licenses, permits, and tags, where applicable
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to ensure availability, freshness, and clean, organized displays
Maintain store cleanliness and complete assigned operational, opening, and closing tasks throughout the shift
Follow safety, sanitation, and operational procedures; identify and report equipment or system issues
Communicate effectively with teammates and leadership to support smooth shift transitions and store operations
Assist with additional duties as needed to support overall store performance
Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years of age
Have reliable transportation
Demonstrates a willingness to ensure positive customer experiences and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High integrity and accountability—you do the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks like crouching and bending
Comfortable working in varied conditions, including cooler/freezer restocking, outdoor weather, moderate noise, and typical fuel or cleaning product odors (all within OSHA-compliant environments)
Schedule:
Part-time
Must be able to work a mix of opening, mid, and closing shifts as needed
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
