Job Description Job Title:RN - Labor & Delivery Location:New York, NY Type:Contract | 14 Weeks (With high possibility of extension or permanent placement) Shift & Schedule:3x12 Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week Position Overview: Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor and delivery Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to changes in patient status Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and medication administration Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures Administer and monitor conscious sedation as required Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program required Active New York State RN License required NYSED Verification required AHA BLS Certification required AHA ACLS Certification required NRP Certification required Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child nursing experience required Minimum 2 years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience required Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience required For more details contact ator Call / Text at516-862-1169.
