Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU RT

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and/or PICU experience for a night shift travel contract at a children's acute care teaching hospital in St. Louis, MO.Job Details• Work in the NICU at a 400-bed children's acute care teaching hospital,• Pediatric and neonatal patient population, including pediatric critical care cases,• Experience with ED and Level 1 trauma facility workflows utilized,• Charts using Epic (experience required),• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,• Every other weekend required,• Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required,• On-call is not required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Current RRT and BLS certifications required,• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist,• NICU and/or PICU experience required,• Pediatric critical care and ED experience required,• Level 1 trauma facility experience required,• Epic EMR experience required,• Valid MO State License required; IL candidates may be considered with a pending IL license,• License required if applicable,• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,Additional Information• Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU,• Scrub color is open or facility-branded St. Louis Children's Hospital T-shirts/jackets,• No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation,• Travelers may work at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required,• Former permanent employees of BJC facilities must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler,• Local candidates (within 75 miles) are not accepted,
