As a Construction Inspector , you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client's ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located at our client site in Florida and requires a daily presence at the site.Key Responsibilities As the primary field representative, this team member ensures contractor adherence to quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) protocols by overseeing construction activities to ensure strict compliance with contract documents and regulatory requirementsPerform daily field inspections to verify that construction activities comply with plans, technical specifications and contract requirementsServe as the onsite field representative for our Florida projectsMonitor contractor workmanship, materials and installation methods to ensure quality and complianceMaintain daily logs of activities, including work performed, labor, equipment and site conditionsEnsure all work adheres to safety requirements, including OSHA and client standardsCoordinate inspection activities around client schedules and operational safety zones to minimize disruption to building operationsReview and verify installed quantities to support contractor progress paymentsRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent5–10 years of construction inspection experienceDemonstrated experience on maritime or port projectsPhysical ability to conduct site inspections in outdoor and industrial environmentsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeHave a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal formsHave good to great organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications Advanced technical degree in construction management or civil engineering technologyKnowledge of independent testing and third-party inspection activitiesBenefits We offer Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans401K, Paid Maternity Leave, Competitive PTOEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) and moreSponsorship and relocation are not available for this opportunity.Ardmore Roderick is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
