Here, you’ll be empowered to build products that revolutionize the way their customers do business.The Technical Engineer II serves as a technologist specializing in an individual technology or a set of technologies. This role involves working closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams to design, develop, and execute technical solutions that align with the organization's current and future needs. The engineer will participate in infrastructure review, implementation, design, and the creation of support and architectural documentation. Regular interaction with business partners and senior professionals is essential to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and technical solutions. Additionally, the Technical Engineer II will mentor less experienced engineers, promote industry best practices, and ensure adherence to the company’s risk and regulatory standards.Responsibilities Collaborate with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams to implement and manage technical solutions that meet organizational needs. Conduct infrastructure review, implementation, design, and create support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing. Independently interact with business partners at various levels to ensure clarity of problems and elicit business requirements. Facilitate meetings and conference calls with vendors, internal staff, and senior professionals. Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators; review documentation and proposals from less experienced staff. Continuously expand knowledge of financial services trends, practices, and technologies. Follow and promote the use of industry best practices, standards, and procedures. Maintain a working knowledge of specific systems and services supported by the department. Work with senior technical staff to manage and support elements of the Bank service catalog. Adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, identifying and escalating risk-related issues as necessary. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the brand. Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and regulatory issues. Complete other related duties as assigned.Qualifications Combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture. College degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a technical engineering position involving infrastructure design technologies, data management, system design, and/or development for complex applications.
