Thread Rolling Setup Operator

We are looking for a skilled Thread Rolling Setup Operator to manage the configuration and operation of our thread rolling machinery. You will need a sharp eye for detail, solid mechanical expertise, and proficiency with precision measurement instruments to guarantee that all output aligns with our strict quality benchmarks. Core Duties Configure thread rolling machinery in alignment with production requirements and job orders. Drive production efficiency and safety by operating equipment to meet output goals. Verify the quality and dimensional accuracy of all completed parts. Utilize micrometers, calipers, and various gauges to validate that components meet exact specifications. Perform necessary calculations to determine precise product dimensions and lengths. Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure consistent product excellence. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for the entire team. Adhere to all established operating, quality, safety, and environmental protocols. Assist in the safe transport of materials and finished goods across the facility. Required Qualifications At least three years of experience in manufacturing, thread rolling, or machine setup. Proven mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Strong proficiency in shop math and measurement techniques. Hands-on experience with gauges, micrometers, and calipers. Capacity to interpret written instructions, measurements, and production orders. High level of organizational skill and meticulous attention to detail. Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset. Minimum of a GED or high school diploma, with technical training being advantageous. Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop consistently during your shift. Ability to regularly lift and transport items weighing 50 pounds or more.
