SOA Testing- Soap UI / CA DevTest

Overview In this role, you will lead SOA testing and web service automation to ensure robust, scalable service landscapes. You will work within an IT delivery context to shape API testing strategy, automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement API facades and proxies, leveraging modern testing approaches. The position offers a global delivery environment with impactful work on API-driven solutions and service reliability. ResponsibilitiesPerform SOA testing and web service test automation (Soap UI, CA DevTest)Conduct end-to-end and regression testing of SOA-based applicationsDevelop API test automation and testing frameworksLeverage service virtualization to simulate servicesWork with reusable services (WSDL/XML schemas) and API products (WSO2, APIGEE)Implement API facades, proxies, and developer portal elementsApply Agile BDD/TDD practices in testingAutomate API test scripts to support CI/CD pipelinesContribute to test strategy and test designUtilize Java, Groovy, Unix/shell scripting in automationCollaborate in a global delivery environmentDesirable: experience in Insurance domain Key requirementsMinimum 4 years in SOA testing and web service test automationStrong Java coding skills with at least 4 years of development experience4 years of experience in API testing and framework development4 years of experience with service virtualization (advantage)Experience with WSDL/XML schemas and reusable servicesExperience with API products like WSO2 or APIGEEHands-on Agile BDD/TDD experienceAbility to automate API tests for CI/CDExperience in test strategy and test design (4+ years)Proficiency in one or more scripting languages or automation toolsUnix scripting and basic shell scriptingTeam player in diverse stakeholder environmentsExperience in Global delivery environmentDesirable: Insurance domain experienceAnalytical thinkingTeam collaboration in diverse stakeholdersAdaptability in global deliverySoapUICA DevTestJava
