Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications.ResponsibilitiesProduces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma; Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum RequirementsEducation: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program Experience: 2-5 years of X-ray experience Licensure/Certifications: ARRT (R); VI or CI preferred, BLS, state license if required Preferred RequirementsEducation: Associates degree Experience: 1-3 years IR experience SB4Organization DescriptionEstablished in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center.
