Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Belleville, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,172 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Care Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-timers accepted License: Valid State License required Certifications: BCLS, RRT Must-Have: ICU and ED experience; high level of self-starting and self-managing; high degree of emotional intelligence Description: Position requires providing respiratory care services. Shift is from 18:45 to 07:15, with weekends and holidays required. Every other weekend is expected. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Registered Respiratory Therapist is necessary. No formal on-call requirement, but optional call will be available. Clinicians may float within the service line to meet facility needs. Position involves caring for adults and geriatrics. Skills required for this position include arterial punctures, airway management, and oxygen therapy. Experience with pulmonary toileting, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP is essential. The candidate must have experience interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) and understanding therapeutic modalities. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in direct intubation, bronchoscopy, and various emergency medications. Additional skills include troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and managing mechanical ventilation. Pediatric experience is preferred, but not required.
