Learn why Keeper is trusted by leading organizations to defend against modern adversaries at KeeperSecurity.com.About The RoleAs a Senior SDET focused on DevOps and infrastructure, you will build automated test frameworks and validation workflows for AWS environments, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments. This is not a traditional manual QA role. You will apply software engineering and automation practices to verify that infrastructure changes are functional, secure, repeatable and compliant before they reach production. You will work closely with DevOps, Platform Engineering, Security and Compliance teams to test infrastructure changes, identify configuration and deployment defects, improve release confidence and strengthen automated validation across Keeper’s cloud environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain automated test frameworks for AWS infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code and deployment workflowsValidate infrastructure changes across VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT gateways, IAM, security groups, load balancers and related AWS servicesDevelop automated tests for Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar infrastructure-as-code implementationsBuild validation into CI/CD pipelines to identify infrastructure, configuration and deployment issues before production releaseTest containerized and Kubernetes-based environments for functionality, resilience, configuration and securityValidate infrastructure hardening and security controls against applicable STIG, CIS and compliance requirementsDevelop automated integration, regression, smoke, performance and failure-recovery tests for platform and infrastructure changesVerify that Keeper applications and services continue to operate correctly as underlying infrastructure and deployment configurations changeAnalyze logs, metrics and telemetry to troubleshoot failures and produce clear, reproducible defect reportsPartner with DevOps and Platform engineers to identify test gaps, improve infrastructure testability and automate repetitive validation workflowsSupport audit readiness and compliance validation by producing repeatable test results and technical evidenceUse AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms to improve test development, debugging, root-cause analysis, documentation and workflow efficiencyRequirements5+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Engineer in Test, Infrastructure Test Engineer or similarly automation-focused engineering roleStrong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT gateways, security groups and IAMStrong experience testing or validating infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar technologiesProficiency in Python, Bash, Go or another language used for test automation and infrastructure validationExperience building automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar platformsHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesStrong understanding of infrastructure testing, configuration validation, integration testing and failure-recovery scenariosExperience troubleshooting cloud and infrastructure issues using logs, metrics and observability platforms such as DatadogFamiliarity with security hardening and compliance requirements such as CIS benchmarks, DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, SOC 2 or ISO 27001Strong understanding of Git-based development workflows and automated software delivery practicesAbility to work closely with DevOps, Platform Engineering, Security and Compliance teams to diagnose complex technical issuesAbility and willingness to use AI-assisted tools effectively to improve test automation, debugging, technical analysis and documentationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience validating infrastructure in FedRAMP High, DoD, IL5 or similarly regulated cloud environmentsExperience with automated infrastructure testing frameworks such as Terratest, pytest or similar toolsExperience testing Kubernetes infrastructure, container security or deployment resilienceFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning, compliance drift detection or SIEM integrationsExperience with AWS GovCloud and/or Azure GovernmentFamiliarity with secrets management, IAM, PAM or zero-trust security architecturesBenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision (inclusive of domestic partnerships)Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental lifeVoluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401K (Roth/Traditional)A generous PTO plan that celebrates your commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc)Above market annual bonusesKeeper Security, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.
