Support Engineer
Overview:
As a US-based Full Stack Developer, you will drive feature development and L2 production support for business-critical applications. You work closely with offshore teams to ensure stability and knowledge continuity, balancing development and production incident handling. You bring hands-on expertise in PHP, Laravel, NextJS, and REST APIs, with a focus on performance and reliability. Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance features using PHP, Laravel, and NextJSInvestigate and resolve production incidents and support tickets
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
- Troubleshoot across application, API, database, and infrastructure layers
- Optimize SQL queries and backend performance
- Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure knowledge continuity and stability
- Participate in code reviews and uphold development best practices
Key requirements:
- 10 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in PHP, Laravel, NextJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, MySQLExperience with L2 Production Support, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, Defect Fixes/Enhancements
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitAbility to work in an onshore-offshore delivery model
