This is a small, senior engineering team shipping meaningful product features quickly. We’re looking for a frontend engineer who can take ownership of critical product surfaces end-to-end. The Role: We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and build the core user interfaces that power our observability platform — including dashboards, topology views, workflows, and developer-facing tools. You will work closely with backend, infrastructure, and product teams to translate complex distributed systems data into performant, elegant, and highly usable interfaces. This role is best suited for someone who: Enjoys building data-dense, technical products Has strong UX instincts for complex workflows Thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments Ships clean, scalable frontend architecture This is deep product engineering — not marketing-site work. What You’ll Build: You will own major UI surfaces such as: Real-time observability dashboards Multi-region system topology visualizations High-ingest, high-volume data visualizations Model performance and pipeline monitoring interfaces Deployment and configuration workflows Developer tools for debugging distributed systems Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain core frontend features using React and TypeScript Design intuitive workflows for complex distributed systems concepts Develop data-rich dashboards with charts, tables, and real-time updates Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams on API contracts Improve frontend performance, caching strategies, and state management Contribute to component architecture and scalable design systems Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and UX consistency Participate in product discussions and influence roadmap decisions Own features end-to-end: concept, implementation, refinement, and iteration Required Qualifications: Strong experience with React and TypeScript Experience building complex, data-driven web applications Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, ESLint, Prettier) Strong understanding of state management (React Query, Zustand, Redux, etc.) Experience with routing, caching, and API integration patterns Ability to design clean, intuitive UX for technical users Strong product mindset and attention to detail Ability to work independently and ship high-quality features efficiently Preferred Experience: Experience with component libraries such as Material UI or Chakra Experience building UIs for DevOps, AI/ML, infrastructure, or observability platforms Familiarity with data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3, ECharts, VisX) Experience working with real-time or streaming data Understanding of distributed systems concepts Experience building dashboards, monitoring tools, or developer platforms Experience contributing to design systems or scalable component architecture Comfort collaborating cross-functionally on API design and product direction Benefits: What We Offer: High ownership over core product surfaces Direct influence over UI/UX direction of a fast-growing technical platform Collaborative, senior-level engineering team Competitive compensation and meaningful equity Fast-paced environment with measurable product impact Opportunity to shape the frontend of a category-defining observability product
