SkillYah is currently seeking Japanese language tutors of all levels to meet an anticipated demand from our growing user base. Tutors will operate independently, allowing them to establish their own schedules and set their hourly rate of payment. Scheduling and communications are handled directly through the SkillYah platform, with secure payment options provided through Stripe. Responsibilities: - Communicate effectively with students to understand their goals for each session - Adjust session plans based on individual student desires - Provide instruction to a variety of ages and backgrounds, all united by a passion to understand the Japanese language - Assess student progress and adjust instruction strategies accordingly - Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment Desired Qualifications: - Strong understanding of and ability to speak Japanese - Experience working with children or adults in an educational setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to develop engaging and effective lessons - Familiarity with various teaching strategies - Patience and flexibility in working with diverse learners - Ability to adapt teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles - Previous experience instructing in a virtual environment preferred, but not required *SkillYah is not responsible for and does not guarantee student availability.
