This role is ideal for an early-career to developing scientist who is eager to build strong in vivo and translational research experience in a structured but fast-moving biotech environment.Working closely with senior researchers, you will contribute to the execution of preclinical studies, including immunology-focused experiments, supporting programs that are advancing toward IND-enabling stages. This role offers a balance of hands-on bench work, data analysis, and increasing exposure to study design through literature research and scientific collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct in vivo pharmacology studies in rodents (primarily mice), including:Intravenous (IV), subcutaneous (SC), intramuscular (IM), and oral (PO) dosingXenograft tumor model establishment, monitoring, and data collectionSupport immunology-based studies, including evaluation of immune responses in oncology and inflammation modelsPerform routine animal monitoring, clinical observations, and humane handling in compliance with IACUC protocolsMaintain thorough and well-organized experimental records and study documentationCulture and maintain mammalian cell lines; prepare cells for in vivo useSupport study execution, including coordination of timelines and sample collectionConduct literature reviews and assist in developing study designs and experimental approaches under guidanceEnter, manage, and analyze data using GraphPad PrismGenerate figures and summaries, present data in internal meetingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including biology, immunology, and translational researchMaintain laboratory and vivarium standards, including safety and complianceQualificationsB.S. or M.S. in Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience0–4 years of relevant experience in academic or industry settingsHands-on experience working in an animal facility and laboratory environmentExperience with rodent handling and dosing techniques (IV, SC, IM, PO)Familiarity with xenograft/tumor models preferredExperience with mammalian cell cultureExposure to immunology techniques or concepts is a plusKnowledge of IACUC protocols and humane animal care practicesProficiency in GraphPad Prism for data entry and analysisAbility to clearly present experimental results in team settingsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWhat We’re Looking ForA reliable and detail-oriented researcher who enjoys hands-on experimental workStrong interest in oncology, immunology, and translational researchCuriosity and initiative to learn how to design experiments through research and mentorshipWillingness to grow within a collaborative teamAbility to follow established protocols while developing increasing independenceCalifornia Salary Range: $70,500-$80,000/year
