Job DescriptionA well-established commercial general contractor is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to support field operations across active commercial construction projects.The Assistant Superintendent will work directly with the lead Superintendent and project team to help manage day-to-day jobsite activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining a safe and organized site. This Assistant Superintendent role is a great opportunity for someone looking to continue growing their field leadership career with a stable contractor that has a strong pipeline of work.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite operations and project coordinationHelp manage subcontractor schedules and ensure work is progressing according to planMaintain jobsite safety standards and support safety meetings and compliance effortsMonitor quality control and ensure work meets project specificationsAssist with project scheduling and coordination of inspectionsTrack progress and communicate updates with the project teamHelp maintain jobsite organization, documentation, and reportingQualifications:2-5+ years of commercial construction experienceExperience supporting field operations on ground-up or large renovation projectsStrong communication and coordination skills with subcontractors and project teamsWorking knowledge of construction scheduling and jobsite safety practicesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsWillingness to be onsite daily and support project teams as neededOur client is ready to hire immediately!
