What You'll Do:Design, develop, modify, and evaluate FPGA-based electronic systems and hardware architecturesLead FPGA design and implementation for embedded control systems using AMD Vivado development toolsDefine hardware/software/FPGA partitioning and system-level architecturesDevelop interfaces for sensors, actuators, industrial peripherals, and control systemsPerform system analysis, hardware evaluations, and experimental testing to validate designsCollaborate with systems, software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver integrated solutionsEvaluate components, technologies, and suppliers to support product development initiativesSupport system integration activities and troubleshoot complex hardware and embedded system issuesContribute to product development throughout the full engineering lifecycle Job Requirements What You'll Bring:8+ years of experience in FPGA design, embedded systems, or electrical engineeringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline5+ years of experience developing FPGA solutions using AMD Vivado tools5+ years of experience programming and debugging FPGA designs using SystemVerilog5+ years of experience performing embedded hardware debugging and system integration What Sets You Apart:Semiconductor capital equipment design experienceProven experience developing complex electronic systems and control architecturesExperience with electrical power distribution systems and industrial equipmentKnowledge of PCB design processes and hardware development lifecyclesUnderstanding of Systems Engineering methodologies, including the Systems "VEE" modelExperience integrating equipment into customer manufacturing facilitiesStrong leadership and technical mentoring capabilitiesExceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across disciplines while maintaining project ownership and accountabilityWillingness and ability to travel internationally as needed Additional Information:Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screenApplicants for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
