Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, this role is responsible for accurate and timely invoice entry, vendor communication, and adherence to internal controls, and will work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and other accounting team members. Responsibilities include:Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, following internal policies and AP proceduresPerform 3‑way match of purchase orders, receipts, and invoicesMaintain vendor records including W‑9s, banking information, and compliance documentationAssist with invoice discrepancy resolution by communicating with vendors and internal departmentsAssist in preparation of weekly payment runsSupport credit card transaction coding and entryReconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoicesAssist with month‑end close, including AP accruals and reconciliation tasksProvide documentation for CPA reviews, DCAA audits, and internal control testingMaintain accurate AP files and ensure adherence to company policies and FAR/DFARS requirements (if applicable)Perform other duties as assigned by the AP ManagerRequired Skills, Experience, And Education1-3 years of accounting experienceCostpoint experience preferred, or experience with another large ERP (Oracle, Unanet, SAP, NetSuite)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and in a team environmentKnowledge and experience with FAR, CAS and DCAA compliance (preferred)Knowledge of GAAP (preferred)Self-motivated and self-disciplined individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills, Experience And EducationBS or BA degree in related fieldGovernment contractingPhysical RequirementsMust be able to sit for long periods of timeConstantly operates a computerPay ScaleAt GALT Aerospace, base pay is one part of the total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as one grows and develops within a role.
