Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This full-time Speech-Language Pathology position supports students in grades K12 during the 20262027 school year in Detroit, MI. The role involves working within a school setting to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention services to pediatric students with diverse communication needs. Caseloads vary according to the candidates experience and preferences, ranging from moderate to profound needs, allowing specialists to tailor their practice.Key Responsibilities:Conduct speech and language assessments for pediatric students across early childhood to elementary and secondary levels.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication disorders.Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.Maintain accurate documentation of services delivered and student outcomes.Participate in staff meetings and professional development as needed.Desired Qualifications:Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or equivalent credential.Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, including early childhood and K12 students.Knowledge of special education laws and individualized education program (IEP) processes.Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with students, families, and colleagues.Flexibility to work with students across a range of needs from moderate to profound.Location and Contract Details:This opportunity is based in Detroit, MI.Contract position encompassing the full school year (20262027).Open to both local candidates and those willing to travel.Benefits and Compensation:Competitive hourly pay ranging from $40 to $60.Comprehensive healthcare benefits.401(k) plan with company matching.Consistent weekly pay.Candidates passionate about making a positive impact on students communication abilities are encouraged to apply for this rewarding pediatric SLP opportunity serving diverse school-age populations.
