Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship (H1B, STEM/F1) or work with 1099, C2C, or C2H contracts at this time.Software Engineer III – Content EngineeringLocation: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – onsite 3 days/week)Duration: 6-month contract with strong potential for extensionPay Rate: Up to $80/hourBenefits: Dental, Vision, Health, PTOJob OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join out client's Engineering team on supporting innovative Horizon Mobile experiences and AI automation pipeline validation initiatives.This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of AI tooling, mobile experiences, and game engine development, contributing directly to next-generation immersive products within client's content organization.In this role, you will contribute hands-on engineering support for Horizon Mobile product experiences, while also validating and improving AI-driven automation workflows, including reliability testing, edge case validation, and regression coverage.The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical game engine expertise (Unity / Unreal) and exposure to AI automation tools and workflows, including familiarity with tools such as Claude.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and support features for Horizon Mobile experiencesBuild, debug, and enhance workflows using Unity, Unreal, and related game engine toolingValidate AI automation pipelines for quality, scalability, and reliabilityExecute testing, verification, regression checks, and edge-case validationAnalyze and optimize AI-driven workflows for performance improvementsCollaborate with product, engineering, and technical stakeholders on feature deliverySupport bug fixing, iteration cycles, and production issue resolutionContribute to technical discussions, sprint execution, and delivery planningStay current on trends in agentic AI software development and automation toolingMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as:C#JavaScriptor similar languagesHands-on experience with Unity or Unreal EngineExperience validating or testing AI automation workflows / pipelinesFamiliarity with AI-assisted engineering tools, including ClaudeStrong problem-solving and debugging capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teamsMust-Have SkillsUnity / Unreal Engine development experienceAI automation pipeline validation and testingFamiliarity with Claude or similar AI toolingStrong computer science / engineering fundamentalsProficiency in C#, JavaScript, or similar languagesPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with XR / AR / VR product teamsExperience in mobile product engineering environmentsMulti-language flexibility across:C#JavaScriptweb-based game enginesGame industry experience with shipped products or production titlesExperience in large-scale consumer product organizationsPursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, qualified applicants will be considered for assignment with arrest and conviction records.
