Job SummaryONEOK is seeking a Plant Operator - Associate who will assist with the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of oil and gas liquid processing facilities at the Bear Creek Plant in Killdeer, North Dakota. This role will support day-to-day plant operations by monitoring and controlling processing equipment, starting and stopping equipment, assisting with maintenance preparation, supporting repairs, and maintaining accurate operational, safety, environmental, and maintenance records.The Plant Operator - Associate will work closely with plant operations, maintenance, and other field team members to help operate equipment such as compressors, motors, engines, cooling equipment, auxiliary units, pumps, turbines, and treating systems. This position requires strong safety awareness, the ability to communicate effectively, basic computer skills, and the ability to read and understand drawings, diagrams, work logs, gauges, procedures, and operational manuals. Candidates should be comfortable working around flammable gases, liquids, high-pressure systems, moving equipment, loud noise, outdoor weather conditions, and other industrial plant environments.This is an on-site role based at the Bear Creek Plant in Killdeer, ND. The work schedule includes rotating shifts: one week of nights, one week off, one week of days, five days off, four 10-hour day shifts, and four days off. Candidates located within approximately one hour of the site are preferred, and the Dickinson, ND area may be a practical commuting option.
