Point Quest is Hiring Behavioral Aides: $18.00-$21.00/hour | Full-Time | Sacramento, CA | Monday-Friday | School Hours (approx. 6.5-hour shifts)About the Role:Support students with special needs in K-12 school settings. You'll implement behavior intervention plans, provide one-on-one instructional support, and help students build the skills they need to succeed in the classroom. This role works closely with teachers and clinical staff to deliver personalized care for students with learning, social, emotional, or behavioral needs.Why Join Us:CEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistanceFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)Paid sick leave, holidays, and vacationSupportive, collaborative team environmentMeaningful work helping students thriveWhat You'll Do:Implement Individual Education Plans (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)Provide one-on-one instructional support tailored to student needsApply ABA methodologies to support targeted behavior goalsRespond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT or CPI intervention techniquesMonitor and supervise students during class, breaks, meals, and transportationRecord daily data on student behavior, skills progression, and learning objectivesCommunicate with teachers and supervisors regarding student progress and concernsWhat We Are Looking For:Passion for working with students with special needsPatient, empathetic, and calm under pressureReliable, consistent, and professional in a school settingStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow behavior plans and structured routinesComfortable providing one-on-one support and redirectionAdaptable and able to respond to changing student needsPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and growAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismPhysically able to support student needs (as required)Must Have:High school diploma or GEDExperience working with students in school or treatment settingsDOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, as applicable per stateStrong communication skills and reliabilityMust be at least 18 years of agePreferred:Pro-ACT, CPI, or CPR certificationExperience with students needing behavioral, social, or emotional supportBachelor's degree in related field (required for BA III level)About Point Quest Group: Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
