Job Description Proficient in SQL Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to communicate effectively and approach problems proactively Very strong technical foundation and the ability to collaborate well with others Strong attention to detail Well organized, with a strong desire to document accurately Strong ability to solve business problems through creative and analytical set‐based logic Handle all backups and disaster recovery Performance management and tuning Indexing Query optimization Maintenance plans Availability Ensure data is available 24x7 Capacity planning Understanding of mirroring / log shipping Basic understanding of SSIS Use SQL profiler to identify query issues with applications Qualifications BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (preferred) or a related field, or equivalent (minimum) Experience in writing and tuning SQL queries for maximum performance in a large data volume environment (strong plus) Experience supporting MS SQL Server in a production environment with high volume and uptime SQL queries, stored procedures and development #J-18808-Ljbffr
