Regional Recruitment Manager — Multi-Hospital Health System (Southern California)A growing, multi-hospital health system is building out a new regional HR structure, and we are leading the search for a Regional Recruitment Manager who will sit at the center of it. This is a newly created, highly visible role with direct executive sponsorship and a clear mandate to raise the bar on how recruitment is delivered across a multi-hospital region.Why is this role different?Historically, recruitment has been handled facility-by-facility. That is changing. The system is consolidating and modernizing talent acquisition at the regional level, and this position is the engine behind that transformation. You will inherit a real book of business (Nurse Manager and Director-level roles), a team to build into, and the kind of C-suite visibility that accelerates careers. Leadership has been direct about one thing: as recruitment goes, so goes the success of the reorganization.The scopeMultiple acute care hospitals plus outpatient and ambulatory sitesApproximately 8,000 employees across the regionRoughly 500–600 open requisitions at any given time (averaging 100 per hospital, plus regional, outpatient, and IPM)Direct leadership of 11 professionals: seven recruiters (three nurse, four ancillary) and four sourcersOwnership of regional travel to all campuses, with a minimum monthly presence at eachWhat you'll ownDesigning and executing the regional recruitment strategy — standardizing process, sharpening KPIs, and making talent acquisition a true strategic functionReducing dependency on traveler labor, a top priority for senior leadershipPersonally recruiting Nurse Manager and Director-level talentDriving sourcing through technology, market intelligence, and creative outreachCommunity outreach and employer brand visibility across the regionLeading, coaching, and developing the recruiter and sourcer teamPartnering with facility HR Directors, hiring leaders, and corporate recruitment to deliver results quickly and consistentlyWhat the right candidate bringsHealthcare recruitment experience is required — this is non-negotiableA background leading recruiters and sourcers in either a multi-hospital environment or a large, high-volume acute care systemDemonstrated success carrying a personal requisition load at the Manager and Director level while also leading a teamCalifornia experience strongly preferrediCIMS experience required; Workday exposure is a plusBachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of advanced, high-volume recruitment experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacityPHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP preferredWhat will make you successful here?The hiring leader was clear on what they are looking for beyond the résumé: transparency, clear communication, and the kind of professional who does what they say they will do.
