Research Software Engineer
Overview
In this role, you will bridge quantitative research and robust software engineering to drive alpha across global markets. You’ll own a high-performance tech stack, working with a collaborative team of technologists and researchers. Expect to build scalable simulation tooling, big-data pipelines, and production-ready interfaces that support data-driven decision making. You will advance the research-to-production lifecycle and explore new technologies to scale the platform.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with quantitative researchers to architect, simulate, and deploy algorithmic trading strategiesEngineer high-performance simulation software for large-scale distributed computingBuild and maintain robust data pipelines for acquisition, storage, and visualization of massive datasetsDesign user interfaces to enable data exploration and post-trade analysisStreamline research-to-production by optimizing strategy prototypes for live deploymentProactively explore and integrate emerging technologies to refine and scale infrastructure
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a highly quantitative fieldExpert-level proficiency in modern C++ and Python in a Linux environmentStrong mastery of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithmsSolid foundation in quantitative finance mathematics and statistical analysisStrong understanding of computer architecture, OS internals, memory management, and high-performance networkingExtensive experience developing and debugging multi-threaded, low-latency applicationsProven track record of delivering clean, maintainable code in high-pressure environmentscollaborative mindsetability to operate in fast-paced environmentsproactive in researching and adopting new technologiesC++ and Python development in Linuxobject-oriented design and data structureshigh-performance and low-latency programming
