Sous Chef - Mon-Fri in Cambridge

Overview We are looking for a Sous Chef for a prestigious corporate campus in Cambridge. We offer work/life balance, growth, and great benefits. Work schedule is Mon-Fri; wrap up the operations at 4pm Friday and be off on Sat and Sun! Benefits include 100%-paid employee health insurance. Qualified candidates most have experience in elevated dining, cooking from scratch--including Mother Sauces, stocks and soups--in high-volume environments. Responsibilities - Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and cooking - Oversee kitchen staff and coordinate food production - Manage inventory and ordering of supplies - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Supervise kitchen operations during shifts - Contribute to menu planning and development - Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen Skills - Strong background in food management and production - Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings - Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes - Ability to supervise and lead kitchen staff effectively - Proficiency in shift management and coordination - Excellent cooking skills with attention to detail - Bartending experience is a plus - Familiarity with dietary department operations If you are a dedicated culinary professional with a flair for creativity and leadership, we invite you to apply for this exciting Sous Chef position.
