Data Analyst

Job Position:- Data Analyst Location:-Ocoee, Florida, United States (ONSITE) Duration:- LONG TERM General Characteristics/Job Description- Performs queries, analyses, and evaluation of data in a data warehouse environment. Uses data mining and data analysis tools to isolate and extract data based on specific parameters and monitors toll transaction data flow to identify any inconsistencies. Performs regular monitoring and trend analysis of system performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Recommends changes to systems or operations where needed. Reviews and validates data in the data warehouse for accuracy. Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments. Requires knowledge of, but not limited to SQL, Oracle, and other skills for large system monitoring. Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Tolling, and PowerBI is a plus. Dimensions Educafion: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informafion Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems. Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. Provides data extracfion, analysis, development, and support in mulfi-plafform environments. Works on mulfiple projects as a team member and may lead projects of moderate complexity. May coach more junior technical staff. Required Skills and Experience  5+ years of experience as Data Analyst.  3+ years SQL experience.  3+ years Excel experience including funcfions and formulas.  Excellent analyfical, problem-solving, and decision-making skill.  Willingness to learn new tools and skills and cross train.  Strong technical wrifing (reports and SOPs) experience, for all levels of the organizafion ufilizing MSOffice, Visio, Share Point or similar applicafions.  Strong oral communicafion skills.  Ability to work on mulfiple projects across the organizafion collaborafively and proacfively Desired Skills and Experience  Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.  Experience with Python.  Experience with MS SQL Server, Linux Unix background and PowerShell scripting.  Experience Windows server 2008 and above.  Experience of software and hardware testing.  Tolling experience.  B.S. degree in Business, Information Technology, or another subject such as Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics or Engineering.  Relevant work experience related to information and communication technologies, toll operations, and/or intelligent transportation systems (ITS), including toll collection systems, toll infrastructure, electronic payment, call centers, or traffic management.  Knowledge of supporting and maintaining production systems.
