Associate Attorney (DBA)

On-site position at Boca Raton office.Responsibilities:Assists with docket involving Defense Base Act claims by:providing sound legal analysis, drafting petitions and communicating with clients, Department of Labor and opposing counsel.Review, analyze and summarize claims documents including medical records, incident reports, and employment filesComplete legal analysis of files to determine likelihood of recovery, recoverable amounts, identification of additional documentation necessary for recovery, recoverable amounts, identification of additional documentation necessary for recoveryParticipate in conferences with the Department of Labor to address issues pertinent to the resolution of filesCommunicate clearly and concisely with clients on issues involving Defense Base Act and War Hazards Compensation ActMake court appearances as necessaryConduct consultations with potential clientsAssist with drafting legal documentsQualifications:Licensed to practice law in the state you wish to workProblem solving skillsAbility to perform under stressExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detailWhat the will make you successful in this role:ProfessionalismOrganizational skillsAttention to detail and excellent communication skillsWillingness to be trained by some of the best attorneys in the DBA industryWhat you should expect from The Firm:To be treated with respect and professionalismTraining to ensure successCompetitive salary and benefit planOpen doors that are always willing to listen
