The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, piping, and plumbing, with 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience. As a Plumbing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plumbing projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality results, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Execution:Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirementsCreate and maintain project schedules using project management softwareIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategiesEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standardsTeam Management:Lead and supervise a team of plumbers, technicians, and subcontractorsAssign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and project requirementsProvide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members as neededConduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutionsEvaluate team performance and provide constructive feedbackTechnical Expertise:Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsEnsure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standardsProvide technical advice and recommendations to clients and team membersStay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing and project managementTroubleshoot complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutionsQuality Control:Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycleConduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and project specificationsIdentify and address any deficiencies or issues promptlyCoordinate with inspectors and regulatory bodies for necessary approvals and certificationsResource Management:Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reportingProcure materials, equipment, and tools required for projectsNegotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutionsOptimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize wasteClient Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycleCommunicate project progress, challenges, and updates to clients regularly
