Unarmed Security Guard Responsibilities: Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules Conduct hourly patrols Examine doors, windows, and gates for proper function and security Warn and report violators of premise rules and regulations Report facility issues such as fire hazards and leaks Request emergency personnel as needed Provide timely and detailed reports Communicate proficiently in English Observe and report activities (no arrests or apprehensions) Unarmed Security Guard Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age Must have valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle report High school diploma or GED required Ability to obtain Texas Department of Public Safety - Private Security License (assistance provided) Clean criminal record: No felony convictions in the last 10 years, Class A misdemeanors in the last 5 years, or Class B misdemeanors in the last 2 years involving crimes of moral turpitude.
